A HUGE thank you to all the families, friends, and community of Kyrene for supporting our first ever “Green for Kyrene” initiative. With your help and generosity, we were able to raise over $20,000 dollars. Your participation and the donations collected will enable the Foundation to continue to support, after school activity scholarships, Turkey & Trimmings, Winter Wonderland, teacher mini-grants, and the annual Principal grant.

A HUGE thanks goes out to all of our 25 schools (administers, teachers, and support staff) for participating with this initiative. We could not have done this without your support. Your help and participation will allow the Foundation to continue supporting the children, families, and Kyrene community. Some of the ways we do that is: scholarships, mini-grants, Winter Wonderland, Turkey and Trimmings.

Congratulations go out to the 11 classes from following schools who had classes with full participation of returning all their envelopes within the one-week time period of the initiative: Pueblo, Ninos, Mirada, Aki-Mel. These classrooms were awarded a free ice cream treat coupon donated from Jeremiah Ice Cream shop, and teachers were awarded for their support with a free drink and bagel & smear from Einstein’s Bagels. Thank you to both Jeremiah’s and Einstein’s for their support of us.
