2019 Winter Wonderland/Toy Drive

This year’s Winter Wonderland, in partnership with the Kyrene District, was a huge success. A great big thank you to all of our volunteers who provided over 500 hours of service to make the event possible.

Winter Wonderland is provided for Kyrene families in need and served 259 families and 702 children this year. Families were able to select toys for their children, stuffed animal and books. We provided Basha’s gift cards to help with a holiday meal.

Refreshments were provided for folks while they waited for gift wrapping (1500 gifts wrapped) and raffling of 50 Turkeys as well as 5 bikes.

Thank you, Altadena Middle School, for over $10,000 dollars’ worth of gifts bought with the proceeds of your annual dodgeball game! We were touched by the generosity of our community as so many wonderful gifts and toys were donated this year. We couldn’t make Winter Wonderland the most wonderful time of the year without you.

A special thank you to Dr. Darlene Wedington-Clark the Director of Desert Vista High School’s Orchestras & Guitar Ensemble for the great holiday music provide throughout Winter Wonderland!
