Current needs for the Resource Center include: Items for Summer Activity Kits — crayons, scissors, glue sticks, puzzles, card games, and small board games. Please drop off at the Family Resource Center.

Please drop off items Tuesday and Thursday from 10 AM till 2 PM.


What To Donate?


Student Backpacks that hold:

  • 3-ring binder
  • 4 colored pocket folders
  • Loose-leaf paper
  • Pencils
  • Colored pencils and crayons

Kyrene students can select up to two outfits per month:

  • New socks and underwear
  • New or gently used shirts, shorts, skirts, and jeans
  • Sweaters, sweatshirts, and jackets

Family Food Boxes

Once a month families can receive an emergency supply box that contains:

  • Protein such as canned meat, tuna, and peanut butter
  • Pasta
  • Cereal
  • Dried beans
  • Rice
  • Spaghetti sauce
  • Canned fruits and vegetables

Hygiene Bags

These items cannot be purchased with food stamps and are always needed. 1 gallon Ziploc freezer bags that hold:

  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Bar soap
  • Deodorant

Miscellaneous

Toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, laundry soap, diapers, and baby wipes are always requested. Cash donations to the Foundation are used to buy Goodwill and Target gift cards for emergency needs.

Families with special needs for furniture and small household items post their requests at the Kyrene Family Resource Center. Please call (480)783-3172 to find out how your gently-used items might be shared with a family in need.
